How to Install and Run ClamAV on Arch Linux

Step 1: Install ClamAV

Open your terminal and run the following command:
sudo pacman -S clamav

Step 2: Update Virus Definitions

After installation, update the virus definitions:
sudo freshclam

Step 3: Run ClamAV

You can run a scan on a specific directory or file:
clamscan /path/to/directory

Step 4: Set Up ClamAV as a Daemon (Optional)

If you want to run ClamAV as a daemon, enable and start the service:
sudo systemctl enable clamav-daemon
sudo systemctl start clamav-daemon

Conclusion

ClamAV is now installed and running. Regularly update the virus definitions and run scans to keep your system secure.
